Terms of Use
1. Agreement
These terms apply between you and the developer of PultEnsion (“the developer”, “we”) and cover your use of the PultEnsion browser extension (“the extension”). By installing or using the extension you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, uninstall the extension.
2. What the extension does
PultEnsion lets you group the extensions installed in your own browser and switch a whole group — or every extension at once — off and back on. It acts only when you click, and only on the browser profile it is installed in.
3. Licence
The extension is provided free of charge. You are granted a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and use it for any lawful purpose, personal or commercial. You may not sell, sublicense, redistribute a modified copy under the same name, or present the extension as your own product.
4. Your responsibilities
- You choose what gets switched off. PultEnsion carries out your instructions through Chrome’s own extension management API. Deciding which extensions may safely be disabled is your decision.
- Do not rely on it to keep protective extensions running. If an extension matters for your security or privacy (a password manager, a content blocker, a VPN), mark it Always on — or do not place it in a group. Switching such an extension off, deliberately or by accident, may expose you to risk on the websites you visit.
- Managed environments. If your browser is managed by an employer or school, extensions installed by policy cannot be switched off, by PultEnsion or by you. Your organisation’s rules continue to apply.
- Lawful use. You must not use the extension to circumvent security or monitoring software you are required to run.
5. No affiliation with third parties
PultEnsion is an independent product. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Google LLC, and not with the developers of any extension it can switch off. Google Chrome, Chrome Web Store and any other names or logos are trademarks of their respective owners, used here only to identify those products.
6. Privacy
PultEnsion collects no personal data and sends nothing anywhere. See the Privacy Policy for the full description of what is stored in your browser and why.
7. No warranty
The extension is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the extension will be uninterrupted, error-free, or compatible with every other extension or with future versions of Chrome.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the developer is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, nor for any loss of data, profit, revenue or business, arising out of or connected with your use of the extension — including any consequence of an extension being switched off, failing to switch back on, or losing its own stored data when disabled. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under the law that applies to you.
9. Updates and changes
The extension may be updated through the Chrome Web Store; updates are governed by these terms unless the update is accompanied by new ones. We may change these terms — the effective date above will change, and continued use after that date means you accept the new version.
10. Termination
You may end this agreement at any time by uninstalling the extension. We may stop distributing or supporting the extension at any time; already-installed copies keep working until you remove them.
11. Applicable law
These terms are governed by the law of the country in which you reside, and nothing in them limits the mandatory consumer-protection rights you have there. Any dispute is subject to the courts competent for your place of residence.
