One switch for a whole group of extensions.
Most extensions only matter on one site, or for one task. PultEnsion lets you group them — “YouTube”, “Work”, “Dev tools” — and switch the whole group off with a single click. Switch it back on and you get exactly what was on before, not everything you have ever installed.
What it does
Groups
Name a group, drop your extensions into it, and one switch handles the whole set. Colour dots keep the list readable.
A master switch that remembers
Quiet everything at once. Switching back on restores the exact set that was running — anything you had disabled yourself stays disabled.
“Turn all on”
A separate, explicit action for the moment you really do want every extension enabled. It never happens by accident.
Always on
Star a password manager or a content blocker and nothing can switch it off — not a group, not the master switch.
A badge you can trust
The toolbar badge counts how many extensions PultEnsion is currently holding off, so you never forget you left something disabled.
Search, filters, dark mode
Filter by on, off or ungrouped, search by name, and match your system theme. Full keyboard navigation.
How it works
- Open the popup from the toolbar icon.
- Create a group and tick the extensions that belong in it.
- Click the group’s switch. Only its members are disabled — PultEnsion notes which ones were running first.
- Click it again and exactly those come back.
Privacy, in one paragraph
PultEnsion has no servers, no accounts and no analytics. While it is installed it makes no network requests at all, contains no third-party code, and runs on no web page — it has no content scripts and no access to the sites you visit. Your groups are stored by your own browser. The single exception comes after you remove it: Chrome opens one optional feedback form, and answering it is entirely up to you.
It asks for two permissions and nothing else: management, because switching extensions on and off is not possible without it, and storage, to remember the groups you made. It never disables extensions installed by your organisation, never touches themes or Chrome apps, and never disables itself.
