Privacy Policy
Short version
PultEnsion has no servers, no accounts and no analytics. While it is installed it makes no network requests at all. Everything it stores stays inside your own browser, and nothing is ever sent to the developer or to any third party.
There is exactly one exception, and it happens only after you remove the extension: Chrome opens a short, entirely optional feedback form. See After you uninstall.
What PultEnsion stores
PultEnsion needs to remember your setup in order to work. All of it is
written through Chrome’s own chrome.storage API:

That is the complete list. PultEnsion does not read, collect, store or transmit:
- your browsing history, the URLs you visit, or the content of any page;
- personally identifiable information — no name, e-mail address, account or device identifier;
- authentication data, cookies, form input, financial or health information;
- any file on your computer;
- usage statistics, telemetry, crash reports or advertising identifiers.
PultEnsion contains no third-party code, no SDKs, no trackers and no remote code. It does not run on web pages: it has no content scripts and no access to website data.
What PultEnsion does with the management permission
The management permission lets PultEnsion read the list of
extensions installed in your browser (name, icon, ID, enabled state) and
switch extensions on and off when you ask it to. That list is used only
to draw the popup and to carry out your clicks. It is never copied out of
the browser.
PultEnsion never disables an extension installed by your organisation’s policy, never touches themes or Chrome apps, and never disables itself.
Chrome sync
If you have Chrome sync switched on, Google copies
chrome.storage.sync data between your signed-in Chrome
profiles. That transfer is performed by Chrome itself under
Google’s Privacy Policy;
the developer of PultEnsion has no access to it and receives nothing from
it. The record of “what was on before” is deliberately kept in local
storage only, because it describes one specific computer.
Data retention and deletion
- Deleting a group or removing an “Always on” star deletes that data immediately.
- Uninstalling PultEnsion removes its stored data from your browser. If Chrome sync is on, the removal propagates to your other signed-in profiles.
- There is nothing for the developer to delete, because the developer never receives your data.
After you uninstall
When you remove PultEnsion, Chrome opens one page in a new tab: a short feedback form, hosted on Google Forms, asking why you removed it. It is the only way the developer can hear from the people who left.
- Answering is voluntary. Closing the tab sends nothing.

The extension sends nothing. It is already uninstalled
by then. Chrome itself opens the address, registered in advance through
chrome.runtime.setUninstallURL, and nothing from your groups, your “Always on” list or your settings is attached to it. - If you do answer, your answers go to Google Forms and are then covered by Google’s Privacy Policy as well as this one. The form does not ask for your name or your e-mail address; please do not type anything into it you would rather not share.
- Answers are read only to decide what to improve. They are never sold, never shared and never used for advertising.
Limited Use disclosure
PultEnsion complies with the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements:
- Allowed use. The data described above is used only to provide the extension’s single purpose — switching groups of extensions off and back on.
- Allowed transfer. No user data is transferred to anyone. There is no server, no third-party service and no export of data by the extension.
- Prohibited advertising. No data is used or transferred for advertising, personalisation, re-targeting or interest-based profiling.
- Prohibited human interaction. No human, including the developer, can read your data: it never leaves your browser.
Children
PultEnsion is a general-purpose developer/productivity tool. It is not directed at children and collects no data from anyone, of any age.
Security
Because no data leaves your device, there is no transmission to secure. Local data is protected by Chrome’s own extension storage isolation: no website and no other extension can read PultEnsion’s storage.
Changes to this policy
If a future version of PultEnsion changes what it stores, this policy will be updated before that version is published, and the effective date above will change. Material changes will also be summarised in the extension’s Chrome Web Store listing.
